What’s on in Auckland
What: I love Takapuna Easter Festival
Where: Waiwharariki Anzac Square, 38 Hurstmere Road
When: Saturday 23rd March, 10am – 3pm.
Head to Takapuna for a free family day to celebrate Easter. The festival will have an easter egg activity trail for kids, giant outdoor games, market stalls and family entertainment.

What: The Easter Show
Where: Auckland Showgrounds, 217 Green Lane West
When: Thursday 28th March – Monday 1st April
The Easter Show is an egg-stravaganza of family friendly entertainment and activities for all ages! The show over Easter weekend will have fair rides and bouncy castles for older kids to a petting zoo and face painting for little ones. There will also be performances, a strong man competition, Axe Throwing competition, BMX demo an of course an easter egg hunt! For tickets click here.

What: Auckland Museum Easter Egg Hunt
Where: Auckland Museum, Auckland Domain, Parnell
When: Friday 29th March, 10am – 5pm
For a wet weather option keep the Auckland Museum in mind for their Easter egg hunt on over Easter weekend. For the chance to win a chocolate hamper, simply follow the clues and find all the eggs hiding in the galleries. For more information click here.

What: Easter at Sky City
Where: Sky City Atrium, Victoria Street West, CBD
When: Thursday 28th – 31st March
Sky City is hosting an egg-citing Easter celebration over Easter weekend! Kids can meet the Easter Bunny over the long weekend as they explore the Easter wonderland the atrium has been transformed into, they’ll also be complimentary Hershey mini easter eggs for little ones.

What: Easter Egg Hunt at the Cable Car
Where: 280 Lambton Quay
When: Friday 28th March – Monday 1st April

What: Chocolate Lovers High Tea
Where: The Library Bar, 1/53 Courtenay Place

What’s on in Christchurch
What: Easter Eggstravaganza
Where: Riverside Market Christchurch, 98 Oxford Terrace
When: Friday 30th March – Monday 1st April, 10am – 6pm.
Head to Riverside in Christchurch over Easter weekend for family easter entertainment for all ages. At Riverside Kids can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, colouring in competition and even meet the Easter Bunny! They’ll also be an awesome Easter grotto, perfect for family Easter photos.
