What: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Live in Concert

What: NE-YO

Where: Spark Arena

When: Sunday 5th October

What: Circus of Illusion Magic Show     

Where: SkyCity Theatre 

When: Sunday 6th October 1pm and 4pm

What: Herbie Hancock   

Where: Aotea Square 

When: Tuesday 8th October

What: Peter Pan by Carl Bland     

Where: ASB Waterfront Theatre

What: A Conversation with Tim Michchin    

Where: Aotea Square 

When: Wednesday 16th October   

Spend an evening in the company of internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter, musician, actor, writer and comedian Tim Minchin as he celebrates the publication of his first non-fiction book, You Don’t Have to Have a Dream. What: Call Girls    

Where: The Pump House, Takapuna

What: BNZ Auckland Diwali Festival    

Where: Aotea Square & Queen Street

When: Saturday 19th October – 20th October     

The BNZ Diwali Festival is returning to Auckland and is even bigger this year with festivities taking place in Aotea Square, Queen Street and long Lorne Street at the Central Library. This free and family friendly event is perfect for all ages and lot of fun with everything from music and dancing, food and craft stalls, free yoga workshops, a Bollywood themed photo booth, art and a spectacular firework display on Sunday night. What: Less Than Jake   

Where: Powerstation, 33 Mount Eden Road

Less Than Jake are returning to New Zealand, this will be the first show since 2014, as the ska-rockin maestros bring you their classic hits.  For more information click here.

What: Cadbury Netball Series – Silver Ferns v Australia     

Where: Spark Arena

When: Wednesday 23rd October  

The Silver Ferns are taking on fierce rivals The Australia diamonds for the Constellation Cup. Head to Spark Arena to cheer on the Silver Ferns. Renowned British Musician Thom Yorke is heading to our shores. Best known for his role as lead singer in Radiohead, this will be Yorke’s first ever solo tour, where he’ll be bringing material of his own as well as your favourite Radiohead classics. What: Mozart &  Dvořák

Where: Auckland Town Hall

What: Thom Yorke    

Where: Spark Arena

When: Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October

What: Pax Assadi – Secrets

Where: Clarence Street Theatre, 69 Clarence Street

What: The Ryman Healthcare season of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

What: Rockaria The Electric Light Orchestra Experience

What: Diwali     

Where: TSB Arena and Shed 6

When: Sunday 27th October    

Head to TSB Arena to celebrate Diwali and experience the colours, tastes, and sounds of India. The festival will have something for everyone with cultural entertainment, henna painting, lantern making as well as many fashion and jewelry stalls and of course lots of kai options.
