Wilson Parking is proud to be certified 'Climate Positive Business Operations' with Ekos
We have measured and offset 120% of our carbon footprint for our business operations for the 2023 calendar year with certified carbon credits. This footprint excludes purchased capital goods and managed car parks (constituting 54% of total parks), as operational control is limited.
These certified carbon credits are sourced from:
- Projects that grow and protect native forests in New Zealand, helping to deliver climate resilience, waterways protection, erosion control, biodiversity conservation and community economic development.
- Renewable energy projects that generate clean forms of electricity through sources such as wind and solar.
Ekos connects carbon offset buyers with these projects by measuring business and individual carbon footprints, supplying certified forest carbon offsets, and providing carbon certifications.
