At Wilson Parking we are committed to ensuring that we operate in a positive way by reducing our carbon footprint. This journey will continue, and we will support and prioritize our sustainable initiatives, continuing to make reductions and improvements, that will support a healthier planet.
Wilson Parking is proud to be certified Climate Positive Business Operations with Ekos.
We have measured and offset 120% of our carbon footprint for our business operations for the 2022 calendar year with certified carbon credits. This footprint excludes purchased capital goods and managed car parks (constituting 54% of total parks), as operational control is limited. These certified carbon credits are sourced from projects that grow and protect forests in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and help to deliver climate resilience, waterways protection, erosion control, biodiversity conservation and community economic development.
